We’d regret it if we didn’t inform you that, in order to remind you that it still exists as a viable media, the comic book community wishes to present you with one of its own for the low, low price of free tomorrow.  In the past years, the first Saturday of May has been celebrated as Free Comic Book Day and the annual quasi-holiday continues this year on the third day of the fine month of May.

Some of the highlights that can be obtained for a song include self contained one shots of X-Men, The Simpsons, Hellboy, or Superman.  Additional give-aways also include some miniature figures if you are lucky enough to visit a participating shop.  Should you be out and about this weekend, you’d feel much better about yourself if you were to check this page on the official site for a list of participating retailers that will be more than happy to oblige you.
