Author Michael Crichton dies

Best-selling author Michael Crichton has died, according to a press release sent out by his public relations firm.  He “died unexpectedly,” the release said, “after a courageous and private battle against cancer.”

Crichton was also a film and TV producer, a film director, and even held a medical degree, but he was best known for his science fiction and techno-thriller novels.  Here’s a short list of his creations… “Jurassic Park,” “Congo,” “Sphere,” “The Andromedia Strain,” “Rising Sun,” “The Lost World,” “Timeline,” “Next.”
