Yes, you read that right – Buck Rogers will awaken from suspended animation again, this time in a live action movie. The movie rights for Buck Rogers have been picked up by Nu Image/Millennium Films. Nu Image/Millenium intends to find a studio partner in developing the live action movie like they did after they picked up the film rights to Conan [currently in development at Lionsgate].

Buck Rogers first appeared in August 1928 in the pulp fiction magazine Amazing Stories and has since seen incarnations in books, comic strips, a radio show, movies and television.
