According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Highlander is making a return… again…

You might think this isn’t big news, after four theatrical films, 3 TV series, a video game, an animated series, an anime film and a few made for cable/video films. I mean, immortals have a lot of mileage, right? As it turns out, not so! Despite Duncan (Adrian Paul) taking over from Connor (Christopher Lambert) and maiking some top-notch quality films (ha!) ever-present producer Peter Davis has decided the best way to continue this franchise is to start over.

With two of Iron Man’s writers onboard, and a deal with Summit Entertainment a relaunch to the franchise has begun pre-production.
