You seen these little robots in stores for awhile now - well they’re getting their own movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robosapien: Rebooted has already begun filming in New Orleans. The movie features the titular robot on the run from evil corporate interests who befriends a boy played by Bobby Coleman. Actors Penelope Ann Miller, David Eigenberg, Holliston Coleman, Joaquim de Almeida and Kim Coates are also in the cast.

Avi Arad and Stephen Paul are producing, the script is by Arad and Max Botkin [from a story by Botkin] and Sean McNamara (’Bratz’) is directing.
