‘Sarah Marshall’ Not Forgettable At All

Reviews are starting to come in for what arguably is one of the last movies of the Spring lull to hit theaters before Blockbuster Season. From the increasingly popular Midas Touch of producer Judd Apatow, Forgetting Sarah Marshall continues the trend of R rated comedy that has become a pleasant trend begun with Apatow’s own 40 Year Old Virgin. Apatow is of course no stranger to the geek community, having pioneered making them cool with the before-its-time ‘Freaks and Geeks’ on NBC.

His successful streak is seemingly continuing as well, with the film so far gathering a 84% approval rating from Rotten Tomatoes. Most critics are agreeing that the Apatow flicks are beginning to become more sharply written, albeit somewhat predictable. Even so, Richard Roeper goes as far as declaring it within the “instant classic” neighborhood.

There had been talk of the clever marketing campaign for the film on our boards earlier, be sure to drop by and let us know if you liked the flick as well if you see it this weekend.
