Seth Rogen talks about THE GREEN HORNET
In case you haven’t heard already, Seth Rogen has been handed The Green Hornet to turn into a live action movie. SuperHeroHype! recently had an opportunity to ask a few questions about the what Rogen was planning for the Golden Age hero.
Here is a quick rundown on what Rogen revealed:
-As with most most superhero films the Green Hornet will be PG-13.
-Rogen is writing the script with Evan Goldberg
-Sony Pictures liked the first draft they turned in a few weeks ago
-Rogen is still set on playing Britt Reid/The Green Hornet himself
-The current script is written as “a very intense action movie” with comedy coming from the relationship between the Green Hornet and Kato
-The movie is not officially green lit yet
-Rogen confirmed that Stephen Chow’s name has come up for consideration regarding Kato - but nothing official yet.
-Rogen has been meeting with possible directors
-The movie is currently slated for a summer 2010 release.
