Spielberg/Dreamworks Option Anime Classic
According to Variety, Dreamworks pictures has attained the rights for a live-action adaption of Ghost In The Shell. Considered to be one of the more modern anime classics, Spielberg himself sought the project. No word on if he’ll be directing, but at the lest he’ll be producing along with Avi and Ari Arad a script written by Jamie Ross (Street Kings).
Like everything else being announced lately, the final film will also be 3D.
