• Fora.TV is a sort of YouTube for snooty folk who enjoy learning things about the world at large. And it is great as great can be and will now totally replace my usual Star Trek podcasts as a default background noise during time otherwise entirely wasted trying to remember all 195 UN member states or making a little robot fight off other robots in a free online game. Steven Pinker, who is a pretty bright guy with a fabulous haircut, gives over a talk covering the topics he writes about in books like The Stuff of Thought and it’s actually quite nice. But you can click around the site and find something else which might interest you if you’re like me and haven’t found this place yet.
