Comcast Aims To Be the Net’s Judge, Jury and Executioner

Net Neutrality proponent Save the Internet has reported that at the request of virtually no one, Comcast has announced their plan to create a “P2P Bill of Rights” that would apply to service providers and users alike.

Comcast claims that they will work with various interest groups and companies, however those listed notably leave out many popular consumer interest groups. This is all troubling news indeed if you consider the fact that Comcast had been recently proven of shaping internet traffic. Comcast is seemingly trying to keep the FCC out of the loop, but the intervention of if may actually help consumers at this point.

Do you use P2P applications? Think Comcast is out of their bounds (again)? Come talk it up with us in the Sci Tech forum.
