Set a World Record With Firefox 3!
If you’ve ever used the popular Firefox browser, its developers are making a call to arms. Â The latest and greatest version of the software in version 3 will be available on June 17th, and Mozilla is trying to round up its community of users in order to make a run at a Guinness World Record. Â The record would be listed in its annals alongside such amazing feats as “Most Potatoes Fit In Mouth” as “Most Software Downloaded in 24 Hours”. Â SpreadFirefox.com is currently taking pledges from those interested in order to gauge whether or not the record could be set.
While Firefox 3 will come with a plethora of bux fixes and minor updates, but the biggest change this time around comes with what some have called the “Awesome Bar”.  The new address bar takes the few characterstyped within it and gives the user a number of options for sites pertaining to it, consisting of sites already visited as well as those that have been already bookmarked.  Also good news is that the new Firefox will be far less of a memory hog than its predecessors, having already proven itself well in speed tests.
Don’t forget to help spread Firefox on June 17th, proving yourself worthy of being listed alongside the man with the longest tongue.

The day after “download day” is “virus day”.
I hate Firefox
Of course their site goes down today from all the stress. Way to break that record!
Dang, missed the date but did update a few days later. FF is the best.
