Meet the Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith
William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, and… 26-year-old Matt Smith, evidently.
Some people have decried the decision as the ”Twilight-inspired” casting of a youth, while others have been a tad more kind in their judgments. I, for one, (despite this being a blog) will remain mum until we are given the “ocular proof” that this Doctor is a suitable regeneration. Like many of you, I too shall miss David Tennant, but I refuse to tear down the new guy. I just posted a bunch of links related to this newspiece instead. We’ll just ahve to see where this takes us.
Perhaps 11 will be the Doctor Who fandom’s lucky number come 2010.
