New to Who
For the 2010 season of Dr. Who, scriptwriter Steven Moffat will be taking over as executive producer/showrunner for Russell T. Davies.Davies has been the chief architect behind Dr. Who since it’s relaunch in 2005. Moffat is no stranger to the Doctor however having penned several of the series best episodes including Blink and The Girl In The Fireplace.
Dr. Who’s fourth season is currently underway– with it nearing completion in the UK, and about 5 episodes in in the US. The fifth season will see only four episodes of Who, though they will be longer and self contained. These have been planned by Davies and Moffat together. The shopw returns to a regular schedule in 2010 for it’s sixth season.
