Sources at Variety and Newsarama claim that the CW (formerly the WB) seems to have found a replacement for its popular Superman prequel TV show, “Smallville.” The popular show starring Tom Welling is rumored to be ending after the next season. The replacement?

“The Graysons,” a show telling the pre-Batman life story of none other than Dick Grayson, the first Robin.

McG (of “Charlie’s Angels” fame) and the executive producers of “Smallville” have already snagged a pilot commitment from the network. Though details are somewhat scarce, it has been made known that the one-hour show will be set in modern timesand the main character will be known by the nickname “DJ.”

  1. DJ? That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are creative poison.
