I'm currently living in a flat about 5 miles from Edinburgh city center in an area called Chesser. I grew up just outside Glasgow though. Edinburgh is a FAR nicer place visually, but I find the people in Glasgow are a lot more sociable. Don't take that as gospel though as i'm TOTALLY biased
