Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead: A. Roger Ebert must have been high when he gave this zero out of five stars. I had just studied the play for my class, and I rented the movie for suppliment. Immediately after viewing it, I went to Amazon and ordered it. Not everyone's thing, I can tell, but I absolutely loved it.
I also found Gary Oldman and Tim Roth to be extremely sexy in this movie. Is that weird?

High Noon B+ Two for the Money B- (I thought it would be more like a D, its was entertaining) The Great Raid C+ (very average, run of the mill glorifying war movie, not near as good as more recent war movies)

I'd like to revise this review, now that I have rewatched Serenity after watching Firefly I give it an A-, I really enjoyed it about 100% more now that I knew the backstory, I think this is why regular audiences had such a poor time connecting with it...

It was utterly terrible. The plot was dumb and there were some many continuity errors it was ridiculous. The acting seemed like they got random people of the street. Absolutely terrible. If there was anything lower than an F i'd give it that.

40 year old virgin: B
Solid beginning but gets weak near the end as it starts to get serious and sentimental (a common flaw in comedy films.)

MASH A- (great dark comedy and satire)
Taxi Driver B- (horrendously overrated)

Team America: World Police - B
In parts some of the best satire I've ever seen, but much of it seems geared to 13 year olds.

Dukes of Hazzard F (terrible, typical Hollywood remake crap, nothing is funny about this movie)
Toy Story 2 B+ (one of the few sequels better than the original)
Chariots of Fire B+/B (pretty good, overrated somewhat, Raiders of the Lost Ark deserved best picture over this though in 1981)

MSTed version of Manos: The Hands of Fate. Movie: F, MSTing: A+. When they said it wasn't to be viewed by regular people, gah, they weren't joking. I nearly broke a blood vessel laughing, though.

À la folie...pas du tout (He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not) - A. Good! Match Point reminds me of this, sort of. Looks like a love story at the beginning, but isn't. Someone told me what the plot was, but it was still cool to see it all come together, so yeah. Audrey Tautou was good as usual.
Army of Darkness - A. Haha, rock on. Might've liked it more than I should because I was drunk (we were doing the drinking game), but Bruce Campbell rocks no matter what, man. Groovy.

I was really baffled by this movie. It is way over stylized. I really like Man on Fire, it had a feel all its own, but didn't take the crazy camera shots and visual stuff too far. Domino definently took it to far to the point of almost inducing an epileptic seizure. I despised the repeat of certain dialogue and didn't understand the whole RV crash and the aftermath. The 90210 stuff was pretty funny, though a lot of this movie was just out there. Can definently see why it bombed.

Grizzly Man A- (though my own morbid curiousity was let down by not getting to hear the final tape, also this got ripped for not getting nominated for the Best Doc Oscar)
Go B (this was a solid movie starring 90s TV stars, surprised me quite a bit)
The Constant Gardner A (should have been nominated for Best Picture over Capote)
Philadelphia B+ (HIV sucks)

Match Point: A-. I'm not really a fan of its genre in general, about adultery and upper-class scandal, but I was able to overlook that in this movie. I went into it not having any idea what to expect, which always enances the viewing experience. It left me unable to determine what I thought and how I felt about the situation and characters, which is always fun in a movie.

Black Christmas A- (First time seeing this horror flick and I can definitely see how it influenced Halloween, When a Stranger Calls and countless other slasher movies. Nice creepy feel to it and the ending was surprisingly good.)
Project X B+ (One of my favorites from my youth. The monkey that played Virgil was really good. Best acting by an animal that I've ever seen.)
Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things D (Really cheesy lame horror flick that rips off Night of the Living Dead badly.)
Land of the Dead B (Pretty good zombie flick, but the previous movies are so much better. In some ways this movie reminded me of Escape From New York.)
