Excellent flick, meta.
Halloween-(B) I kept seeing flaws in the editing, but all in all, I can see why it's a classic. Now I need to rent number two.

Yep. I still wanna know how they made that "flip around" shot in one cut when she's throwing change into the water.

the last i saw in theatres was kung fu hustle- it gets a serious 4.5 out of 5 for the comedy/parody section- it was great!!!
the last i saw on dvd were (well i rented them both at the same time and i like reviewing so here goes) elektra and house of flying daggers.
elektra was...dissapointing. the action was limited, the plot line so so, the acting- could have been better; however the enemies were awesome, and there were some good comedic moments, hence elektra gets a 2.5-3 out of 5
house of flying daggers was pretty good; the dance scene and field scene were exquisite; the cinematography was mostly flawless; the acting pretty good (especially on xang xiyi's part), it gets a 4 out of five

Un Chan Adelou (sp?) - I'm not even near qualified to grade it as I have no idea what I saw while watching this movie. I really felt like it was a nightmare, (bugs crawling out of a hole in the guy's hand, slicing open the chick's eye, it all just makes me cringe) so I'd have to give it a C, just because I don't get it at all. Sorry, film snobs.
