How is the Amistad DVD, I've contemplated picking it up before, is it worth owning?

The Amistad DVD is good, the quality is what you'd expect from a Spielberg DVD. Though, as with Saving Private Ryan, I wouldn't be surprised if a double dip is in the cards sometime within the near future. Even if it's one of Speilberg's least acknowledged projects.
I try not to, only because I have invested so much and the people who I know can’t return things they borrow in one peace. I normally base my decision on how much of a home theater geek they are. I’m sure I’d make a killing, though, if I did.

That one has been bugging me for sometime. I would have picked that one up awhile ago but I remember after the initial release that there were some problems with the framing of the picture and, well, I don’t care for imperfections and possible recalls. Though with my excessive buying as of late, I’m sure I’ll be adding the set pretty soon.

I rarely loan my DVD's out for that reason. Amazing how some don't respect DVD's the way they should, let alone another's property.

It's the theatrical edition of Almost Famous, but I know which one you're talking about. The bootleg or whatever they called it. Yeah, I've been looking for it without much luck. It'll probably be an online purchase.
