God just as traffic was picking up again, poof its gone! I loved that board, just cause non x-philies complained that 'we're boring' and that 'we don't have enough traffic' doesn't mean that you should get rid of it! Those people were obviously not a part of that board, of course they're gonna complain just so they can petition for a board that they want. Do those of us who enjoyed the board have no say? Boo to that!

It is my understanding that the decision on X-Files was made quite a while ago. It had nothing to do with the thread here on Feedback or the comments that people posted there.
I'm sorry to those who visited the forum that it didn't work out, but the fact was that even during the TV season, it didn't receive much traffic.

Thanks for giving all the members a heads up before getting rid of it... If there was anything in there that some of them might have wanted to save for themselves, I'm sure they were able to get it before it was cast into oblivion... Good show.

The forum has simply been removed from the main page listing. It has not been deleted for the very purpose that GK has pointed out. We simply wanted to discourage people from continuing to post on it in an attempt to "save" it. It's too late for that.
You may also note that GP did announce its closure almost a week ago. This wasn't a spur of the moment thing.

Geez. What did you have against the board? It's not like it killed your dog or did anything to bother you personally...you had your say, so just let it be.

Hey, here's an idea: Learn to spell, and don't bash other people to make yourself feel good. Andy's right, how did it bother you? Don't answer, because it didn't. I don't think it bothered anyone. Prove me wrong, and I'll shutup. But until then, what's the point? It is still there, so why take it off the listing in the first place?

I was sad to see the X-Files board gone, because I just got into it, and I think I missed, uhhh, alot.

I haven't been able to get in contact with GP lately, so if anybody wants any threads saved from X-Files, just let us know. Don't wait around cause we're planning on deleting it fairly soon.
