I keep seeing "Hello," and no name, and sometimes the post a reply page doesn't have my name on it.

That happened when I tried to make a poll in the Arena forum.

Got this while trying to move a thread from the Cantina to the Mods' forum.

An error has occurred:
Tried to open zero-sized topic 029537 in forum 10. at CGIPath/ubb_lib_files.cgi line 831.
[THT Edit: I think I figured out why it happened, but I'm leaving this error message here to ensure that no bugs were genuinely involved or created in the process...]

That just means you pressed the button twice. The second time it couldn't find the file ("zero-sized file" = fancy term for "there ain't nothing here no more") and gave you the error. No harm done. I've gotten it several times myself.

hey JA or mandard. okay, i live in the central time zone and the time for me is correct. what isn't correct, for example is when someone edit's their post, it'll say it was posted at 12:35pm but in the edit part it says 'edited by john doe at 1:37pm.'
not a big deal, but you get what i'm saying?? the edit time is still eastern.

DMC, as of now it looks like that can't be fixed. InfoPop says the timezone feature uses javascript and at this time javascript can't be inserted into individual posts/message.

well, it's no big deal. it kinda throws you off a little bit. i understand that this is just a beta test and there will be bugs and such, i just thought i would point it out and let you know about it.

Sorry, UBB has encountered an unexpected, fatal error. This error is extremely abnormal. Please contact the board administration. The error text is:
Can't UNlock 'CachePath/lock/profile_lock.cgi'.
Happened when I updated my profile. Oddly enough, it saved all of my info, so whatever.

okay JA, let me try and explain. when we first got these new features, i put my time at -1, because i am in central time zone, and i updated my profile and it worked. well, this morning when i got on, i noticed that everything was an hour ahead of me. so, i wnet to my profile to see if maybe you guys got rid of it, and it still showed the time format and everything was correct as far as settings go. but it's still showing an hour ahead. and another thing, say when i visit videogames, mos eisley cantina, lando system, movies, music, etc, it says there are no users in this forum...how can that be??? especially the cantina, and lando??
just thought i would share.

Does this count, and interesting one, a FYI actually:
When sending a PM - I clicked on the the URL in this error and it took me back to the page where I clicked the 'pm' of the user to initiate the private message.
FYI Sorry, we do not permit the following HTML tag or attribute: LINK
Under my normal username "Randall00," I logged in, changed something in my profile, then received this:
quote:Sorry, UBB has encountered an unexpected, fatal error. This error is extremely abnormal. Please contact the board administration. The error text is:
Can't UNlock 'CachePath/lock/profile_lock.cgi'.
Afterwards, I was logged out and unable to log back in. It claimed that my password was incorrect.
Any ideas?
