And panovis, I keep coming back becuase I enjoy the company of the people here. When I was banned I was still lurking. It's not my fault the administration at the Cantina is Nazi esque. The details of my banishment are none of your business.

I was disappointed that the thread was closed as well, it was funny. Come on, open the thread. Someone told me that they don't come around anymore because "every thread gets closed sooner or later" and I laughed that notion off-until now. Lighten up please.

According to Chris Sherman, the mods are supposed to keep the Cantina strictly "PG" now, because per Chris, the Cantina was, and is, always supposed to be a "family-oriented board".
Let's never mind that it's never met that definition...and was quite enjoyable that way...
But now we can't have anything on the boards you can't see in a disney movie, I guess. Which would include discussions of gay dungeon masters, pimps, PMS, and any references to genitals, obviously.
Soon we'll be reduced to hand puppets and cutsie kittens as entertainment...And the average age of posters will drop to 7.
...Although heaven forbid one 7-yo member is actually trying to leave a message on the so-called "message board" for another 7-yo member, can't do that, either.

Boy, as complaint threads go, this one is bereft of insight, lacking in discussion, and the humorous parts really need punching up. An entire thread consisting of "You guys close threads! You don't let us do anything we want! WAAAAAAAH!" is far below my expectations for you guys.
Here, let's liven the place up with some discussion questions:

1. If the thread was so evil, why did NumberSix lock the thread rather than deleting it?
2. If NumberSix didn't want anyone to see it, wouldn't locking it just be an irony-filled moment, considering that a lock generally triples the number of hits a thread generates?
3. Didn't I read somewhere that NumberSix had a sense of humor? Or was that just a nasty rumor?
4. Hey, I just realized that if I make the effort to go all the way to page two or three...the thread's still there! Technically, doesn't this mean that the thread still lives in a sense, and good has triumphed over evil once again?
5. Now wait a minute, I thought Torch was the bad cop, and NumberSix was the good cop. Are they trying to confuse us, or did they swap passwords?
6. Lando's different from the Cantina. Why?
7. Remember Darth Palpatine? He cussed at us and he got pissed off at us all the time and got tired of explaining the same **** over and over again. Can he come back? We miss him.
8. Why don't Mandard or JA just take NumberSix out the back door and beat his ass already? I'd pay good money to see that!
9. Remember the old days when people viewed inconveniences as challenges rather than limitations?
10. Let's make a news board! It has nothing to do with the discussion at hand, but we need at least one pointless digression, or it's just not a Feedback thread!

Complaining about stuff like this, when you can legitimately understand why the choice was made to close it, if you have the ability to think, then you're going to ruin it when there is a legitimate complaint. Whining because you don't get your way ruins it when there is a legitimate mistake made. It's not like Torch and Six were the mods all along, and then suddenly just started closing things. Chances are it would've been closed regardless, if Whoop wouldn't have done it, one of the admins would have.
