I don't think I follow, since the two most heavily trafficked boards (Prequels and Cantina) both have two mods.
But I guess your answer would be that there is no pattern to which boards have one mod or two. It's just random.

Well, like Computer and Technology, James Bond, Buffy, and the Photo Album board have 2 mods but Lord of the Rings, which has more topics than James Bond and Buffy combined, has one.
Ah well, you explained it for me; being random and all.
And you are the big cheese of the board so you know what you are doing. And I'm not.
Well, thanks for giving me the low-down.

We have 2 mods because our board actually requires moderators who have some experience and knowledge with computers and computing to run it...not that we actually do much, but that's the idea, anyway. DW and I have different strengths in different areas of computing, so to get broader "coverage" they picked us. That, and EwoksSuck nominated both of us when he stepped down.

Buffy is popular, we've just been quiet since the season finale. But we have two mods if you must know because i can't always be there, i have a life outside the board that i need to tend to so i don't become a hermit and thus, after years of modding by myself i asked for a second mod.

Well, in Six's and my case, we're usually on at different times, so it's (supposed to be) better coverage.

The public think LOTR is popular? Interesting... Btw, the post counts dont really mean anything except how many posts are currently there. I expect most boards have been pruned down more than LOTR's once, so its not a popularity meter.
