in rpg forum, they are creating an invite only rpg, it isnt fair to all people who want to rp in it and whats happening is that they are only rping with freinds. This isnt nightly.net material and should be locked. It doenst give everyone a fair and equal oppertunity to rp. Granted, there are other RP threads in the RPG forum, BUT have you seen the condition they are in with fighting and how often people actually post to them. I think this shouldnt be allowed, its not right and its segregation.

this bryce is saying only professional rpgers are allowed, but he allowed 2 RPers that have only posted a couple times in the forum. I dont see how they get higher priority than me and Darth Emnity. We both have RPed in the forum for a while now. Right now, it looks as if its Bryce's way of saying, i dont like you, you cant play, even though hes not even moderator of the board. I dont think that Bryce should have this much control over a forum or thread the way he does if hes not moderator of it and even if he was, i still dont think its a good idea. He tells me there is enough people in the thread allready. Who said there has to be a limit of people? I mean, thats just a bad excuse to not let people RP in that thread.

agreed, I got in one small argument with Bryce and he kicks me out, thats bull****. PLus he's a hypocrit, he says no god modding but look at this post by him while fighting me in one of the RPG's

He hit head first cutting his forehead open allowing blood to gush out. Bryce walked over toward the Sith as the was crawling on all fours trying to get to his feet. “Not so fast.” Bryce punched the Sith right in the side of the face knocking him down on his stomach. The Sith was out cold.
Bryce then turned and reached his arm out in the direction that his lightsaber was and pulled it to him as he walked out of the complex, and down the canyon.

If the Sith isn't another member playing, can't you kill it? if not, how do you determine if you win or lose the battle if it's not another member?

you can only kill and fataly wound with permission from the character going to be killed. What he did was do freakin too many actions at once. He has to allow time for a reaction from Darth Enmity as well.

but the point is, the thread creates an unequal chance for members to RP. IF they are new, where are they gonna go to start RPing? i mean, sure there are other threads, but those threads are pretty much dead.

Well, why don't you just start an RPG thread of your own? And why don't people complain to the moderators of the board instead of dragging it into feedback, I'm starting to think that SLI's idea of a closed Feedback was a good one.

Werpo, the best thing to do is send this complaint to the mods, before bringing it to feedback. Give the mods a chance to deal with it first. You do this by PMing them.
But since it's here...
It seems very "clique-ish" to have an invite only rpg... 'specially if that rpg happens to be the most posted on game in there. Seems to me that kind of thing can only cause trouble.
Now about Bryce's rping style... that wouldn't be a problem if it's game had a narrator/game master.
The game master says okay this is the what's going on. Go play.
RP player one posts.
RP player two reacts.
Game Master updates, maybe adds another element. Says who goes next.
RP player two posts.
Game Master explains that part of RP player two's post cannot happen, it's too much at once. Game Master says what did happen choosing a piece (usually the first part) of RP player two's last post.
RP player one reacts.
Boom, that's how you solve that problem.
Though of course you don't have to have a game master, you guys just need to be cool about stuff. If the person you RP with says, "Dude that was too much at once, and i have a problem with the way you so easily punked me out." Then the other RPer should go back and edit his post accordingly to keep with the spirit of the game.

I didnt talk to the mods because first off, Cloud24 has still NOT read a pm i sent to her like over a month ago, and i also think she lets BMan do the star wars type stuff, and two, B Man is supporting Bryce, which i totally disagree with.

i would like it if they would open the rpg to anyone so that it would give members a fair chance to participate in them and not to feel discouraged because of these groups that are being created.

I would be concerned if this was purely excluding somebody because they didn't belong to a certain group and no other reason. That can happen and it would not be something I would approve.
However, I also recognize that for people to be able to enjoy the forum, they need the RPG to be played in an way that's acceptable to them. There's a difference between excluding somebody just because they're not "in the group" and excluding them because they've proven themselves unable to play a given RPG the way that everybody else in the game is playing.
If anybody wishes to start their own "exclusive" RPG thread to play in a style that they prefer, I'm sure you wouldn't be stopped. Nobody's keeping you from participating in RPGs completely. They're only keeping you from joining one where you're not getting along with the other players. You're free to play on the other ones or get your own group of people together who want to play together and start your own.

yea, its just bryce that doesnt like us. He created this to exclude me and enmity from playing with him. If he doesnt like it, he should deal with it, not create a group to exclude us. We do nothing wrong in the RPG forum as far as RPing goes, but bryce thinks we do and doesnt like us. He isnt Mod, he shouldnt do that there.

Trust me. It's not just Bryce. He just seems to be the most vocal about it.
If you wish, you can talk to B Man and Cloud and see if you can convince them. I'll defer to them if they think you should be allowed in. If not, then I don't have a problem with it. If nothing else, maybe it will help you learn that "getting along well with others" wasn't just a lesson that applied in kindergarten.
