whats the deal with double posts? Shouldn't the flood control prevent this?

I have done this a few times on accident by double tapping the enter key on my keyboard

It's not always a result of double tapping the add reply button... as flood control does stop that as far as I understand. Anyway, sometimes the UBB burps - basically speaking - and posts your reply twice.
