My only FF experience was way-back-when with the original NES cartridge. Thanks to a cheat book, I whupped it real good.

Consider this... sometime this year Final Fantasy Online will launch in the US and Europe. It's a PS2 game and a MMORPG. That's "massive multiplayer online role play game" for those not in the know... basically EverQuest. Once that hits, the Final Fantasy forum could recieve a big boost in traffic. All the Nighly members that are playing that game could come here and chat about places to see and stuff etc etc. And this is just the icing on an already tasty cake. Meaning everyone else has already mentioned the film, massive line of past games, toys, books and the eventual "non-online" Final Fantasy sequels.
