underage kids should be encouraged to drink

if parents allowed them a little alcohol with dinner or something it would save them sneaking out at night,getting mashed on cheap cider and steal cars,robbing granies etc

I'm not disagreeing with you. I 100% agree with that and feel the drinking age should be lowered. I'm just answering your question through the administrations eyes. They closed it, not me. I was guessing at their rationale. I see nothing wrong with the thread myself.
