I know that in the past we've said no to banner ads, but shouldn't we give it a try for awhile. I mean, it won't hurt anything, now would it? The worst possible outcome is that we don't gain much of anything. And we do have a lot of traffic. So perhaps we could give it a spin?

Seriously could be a good option. One site that sells tshirts (www.tshirthell.com) if I read it right for ever shirt that is sold due to them using a banner on your site you get $2 bucks. I'm sure plenty of people might by those shirts.
Course if they do that it would prolly work eaiser to just donate or somethin.

We already have a banner at the top of all the pages. It doesn't bring in money, instead it subtracts a certain amount from our monthly hosting payments. Probably a bigger amount than we'd get from any paying banner ad. And I wouldn't want to see two banners at the top of every page.
Wasn't there a thread about this on here a few weeks ago? Anyhow, in regards to bringing in funds, the donating itself has been going very well.
