since i have cable, and so do quite a few other nightly members, when we post, we end up usually having to go through the "Post limit, wait one minute, etc." screen, ending up in double posts. i get this, A LOT, and was hoping if you guys would ever turn it off.... please? [Big Grin]

i didn't say all had cable or better, and it wouldn't affect the dial-up users... [Big Grin]

Popping in to say that a 45 second flood control would eliminate 75% of the complaints and work almost as well to control the problems.

60 seconds is just too long not to effect several good posters.

What is the problem with you people? When I'm online, I have two or three windows open, each to a different message board. When I hit "reply" on one board, I click over to another and type a message there, so the 60-second wait is no problem. Jeez. Do I have to teach you how to be proper Netnerds, or what? [Razz]

how about you just give it a shot mandard?? and if it get's out of hand, (i'm sure it will, but still) you can put it back to 60 seconds or whatever.
