Well, the members only forum was just an example. But i feel that this is something that has some potential.
Yeah some people that don't donate will feel snubbed but that's because they decided not to donate. I mean it only takes a couple of hundred dollars to run Nightly.Net currently. But if at the most 100 people are willing to pay 5 dollars a month that's 500 dollars...A MONTH!! I think something can be done with the extra money.
Like I said maybe a members only forum is a bad idea but it is a start!!

You guys have done a great job keeping this place going for so long now. And I think it's incredible how its popularity has grown. Excellent work, all of you.

$120 has been spent on the $40 monthly bill for the last three months. We have $21.30 in the paypal account right now but I believe there are still some checks that were sent to JA. He would have a more accurate total. Still, we are getting down to the bottom of the initial round of donations.

Sorry about that. We changed the e-mail and didn't update the link. It should work now.
Also, a general note: while we're still very happy (and very grateful) to receive donations, we are looking at some other ways to handle fund-raising since it seems unlikely that donations will be able to support us on a long term basis. No details yet, but we'll try and keep people informed.
