Since I visit most of the forums here i notice that the VG forum has the most "flame-wars" since a lot of people on there are pro microsoft con nintendo and combination of all companies. Our one and only great moderator, Jedi Master Bryce, seems to have been gone for a long while and only posts once in a blue moon. So on behalf of the VG forum i request a chance for havign a second moderator added to the Video Game forum.

it used to be worse than it is now in there; if there is a second mod then thats fine, but JMB seems to have it under control. he doesnt have to be actually posting to be modding...

No, but he's not even there. lol I dont see how somebody can do an adequate job of modding a board, if they are barely at nightly at all. He does fine when he shows up. But he just doesn't show up. So for those times, the second mod would step in. I think it would work better.

Please! You don't want a second mod for the VG board. You could concievably close and edit a third of the threads in there.

Really how is it you know this. Sure the amount of time I spend has gone done a bit. But how do you know I am never here. Is it because I don’t show up on recent visitors? Well I hide from that you know. Is it because I don’t post as much? That doesn’t mean I don’t stop by a read stuff from time to time. As for having a 2nd mod that is completely up to Mandard.

i think Bryce is doing a fine job, since hes made the seperate discussion threads for the diff systems there has been a lot less fighting. and those that are fighting its more of "playfull" not flame wars as it used to be. besides he should be home for the summer soon and be around a lot more.

I'd definitely support it. Mostly because of Xaminor stepping in and arguing things to death, but I'm not really blaming anybody. There have been 2 or 3 threads over the last two months that got a little out of hand before Bryce could get in and close it.

well, before you go and flame like crazy over there and get yourself banned, you should know that JMB is there, and he will hurt you.
this idea has been brought up in the past (a few times to my recollection) and it is always squashed. there is nothing wrong with the way that video games is moderated.

its not a "war" a war would include people going all out and flaming, almost every single post i have seen about it has had information to back themselves up and no "personal threats" or anything in them. I think JMB does a fine job as a moderator.

if you were around before Xam got banned originally, those were wars
everything turned into battles between XBox v. PS2 v. Gamecube and Xam would just fight his points even though everyone else said he was wrong and proved wrong, etc. it is much much better than before

Even before Xam was banned it wasn't that bad. I stop by other gaming MBs that are horrendous; even now.
All in all thing's go rather well in the forum; I've not seen anything I'd call a flame war or even and out of control argument/

i was around, and i do remember and yes this isnt as bad but he is still referring to the xbox being superior to everything else and wont even imagine that the littlest bit of information might be true about something actually getting something the xbox wont be. and FDH has to insult everyone that posts against a comment that is totally not needed. and isnt that one of the reasons Xam got kicked out for in the first place?!
