When I post in a thread, or edit a post my avatar becomes a red x. Then if I go to the main page or forum page and go back it appears again. Not a big problem but I thought I'd bring it to your attention

Another problem. When I'm on my laptop then I can see it. When I'm on my dad's computer I can't.

Since it's not hosted by Nightly, I doubt it's truly a Nightly problem. My avatar is hosted from my GeocitiesPLUS account and sometimes I have the same problem as you. But I pay for remote hosting, so for anyone about to say Geocities doesn't remote host... the situation is different for Plus account members. Anyway I think my avatar blinks out now and again due to server traffic and downtime, since remote hosting is enabled. Could be the same reason for your picture trail hosted avatar.

Yup, like they said, whether your avatar shows up or not depends on where it's being hosted. A good way to tell if it's really showing up is to clear your cache (temporary internet files). What happens is that the image gets put in your cache so you can see it show up but nobody else can. Then you go to a different computer without the cached image and it doesn't show up and you wonder what's going on.

Ummm....I don't know what this means....but a giant iceberg just winked at me.
