I just wanted to know, because there are a few threads from mid 02 to early 03 on many forums that are good, I hoped they wouldn't be pruned in the near future.

...and also I was wondering if adding threads to the archive boards was solely a administrator's decision or included some requests from the members.

Thanks.

You can PM the moderator and let them know what topics you want saved. When the next prune comes, they'll be able to have them saved. They may or may not be archived. We leave archiving up to the moderators to limit their size, but requested threads can always be omitted from the pruning.

Better yet, if these are simply threads that have personal value to you, you could just save them to your computer and aid us in reclaiming our diskspace. [Smile]

Mandard, I thought I'd point out that my TransFormers thread (the one with the pics) was apparently eliminated even though I requested to have it saved. [Cry]

Sports Jeopardy - the hardest sports game on the web ... well not really. Game 23, a Champions-only edition won by Darth Wicket!

Are you sure? I moved every Animation thread that was requested except for a few that weren't meant seriously. I might have accidently missed your thread, but if so, it wasn't intentional.

There were two main TF threads requested that be saved. One was. Mine was not. However, once I heard of the Animation board closing, I moved the entire content of the topic to another board, off nightly. Just in case. And for good reason as it turned out. Maybe I'll bring it back the same way and [re]introduce it, say in Movies!
