when I try to make a new screen name, it gives me the "email already used" error. I guess the next question is. How do I delete the name I already have?

well you could also just get a new e-mail address and just choose not to let anybody from the board e-mail you there, which I believe is one of the options.

When I first began to venture out from LotR I wanted to get rid of it. But now that I probably could... I just can't bring myself to ask for it.

If you want to register a new name with your current e-mail, just change your e-mail address and then you can reuse your real address for the new name. If you wanted to keep your current name, change it to a spare address or make a free account (like hotmail) and set it to that. If you don't want it, you can change it to random gibberish for all we care.
Personally, I think it's a good idea for any internet user to have a spare "junk" e-mail account. Lots of good uses for it.

I changed my email and got my new name. Mandard, the email I used perviously was my trash email. But it is all good now. Thank you for your help. If you wanted to delete darth stony you can. I appreciate it. Previously Darth Stony. Jedi Elf
