Since we test beta versions of UBB, how about an auto word wrap feature for cases such as this ( I'm assumeing that Mandard or JA reports any bugs in new code to someone. )
It's very annoying to have to scroll back and forth or change resolution just to read what everyone else wrote.

It's been around forever so I'm sure they're aware of how this works. It's not really a bug. I'm guessing the problem is that the wrap would need to be in a different place depending on your browser and the resolution you're using.
A much easier solution would be if members would just type normally and not hold down keys to make extremely long words.

Everyone should set thier resolution to 800 X 600.

Apparently that's too hard for some.

If there's anything we've learned together after all these years, it's that "self-control" and "the honor system" rarely work well together.

I haven't had my reso set to that since 1998
Anything else is too hard to read.
Maybe for you, I have mine at 1152x864, and I'd have it higher, but my mom always changes it, so I just leave it at that.

Well, the current average for 15" LCDs and 17" CRTs is 1024 x 768. I used to use a 640 x 480 Toshiba Laptop. 12" LCD, 32 MB RAM, Pentium... 66? Who knows. Anyway, those were the days.
Back to the topic. I think many (most?) people would be comfortable with higher resolutions than 800 x 600. Nonetheless, these loooooong strands of letters don't occur that often, so I doubt it's a disturbance to the operation of the boards.
