Time for another recurring feature/running gag.
From time to time, Nightly's mailbox gets flooded with mailer-daemon notices, letting us know that Nightly tried to send an e-mail to a member but it bounced, either because the address no longer exists or because the member's ISP consists entirely of three vocational-tech grads, two spools of wire, and an old Atari 5200. Consequently, some members aren't receiving all the Nightly mail they should be, such as registration confirmations, PM notifications, disciplinary threats, indecent pics from other members, sweepstakes offers, proposals from our very special rich friends in Nigeria, et al.
To that end, we now serve public notice to all members (with the exception of one I managed to contact) whose e-mail addresses have returned mail to us within the last week or so. More names will be added to this thread as they occur. We'd highly recommend updating your Profile so that you don't miss out on anything important, and so that we don't assume you're an abandoned alias and delete you. And don't think that idea hasn't crossed my mind.
If you see anyone this list who shuns Feedback (a fault on their part, IMHO) that you're able to contact and inform, please feel free to do so. (I do NOT mean that you should go start a Cantina thread to attract their attention.) And please, please, please, do NOT begin offering up e-mail addresses on this thread out in plain sight. It's rude.

I can fix that. We'll just edit your e-mail address to dlghjaegjebgu@dlfnwksn.com, lock your Profile, wait for your bounced PM notifications to hit the Admin mailbox, then sit back and enjoy ourselves a nice li'l show.

Nah, this has absolutely nothing to do with that. We don't care if you let people e-mail you directly or not. That's entirely your business.
About 95% of these names are members who've received PMs in the last few weeks, but whose PM notifications bounced and went back to the Admin mailbox.
The other 5% are people who registered new names under invalid e-mail addies, and whose registration confirmations bounced. I've changed my mind on that recently (after I started this thread), and have begun deleting those failed usernames outright.

You're right. B, if you don't want direct e-mail from other members, you might wanna go edit your Profile so that it doesn't show.
On the question, "Keep your email address viewable to others when you post notes?" change your answer to "No, hide my address and do not allow members to mail me." That should do it.

I hate replying to myself. One of the reasons I started leaving intentional long delays between my posts in the massive Comics Forum review thread (my favorite Nightly hobby) is because I felt like I was dominating it too much. Believe it or not, I do have a sense of humility.

Yes, you. Not The Other Primbud, YOU. At least two returned e-mails so far. And you're only one of two members I know so far who've used the "E-Mail Me Immediately If Someone Replies to My Precious Thread!" option only to have it keep bouncing back at us.
