Ths is just ONE example of the many, many situations where a Relationship Forum (NN's Loveline) would be great to have here. The other day i was in a chat room with 10 other NN members and 4 - 5 instances came up where our members could greatly benefit from having one.
I think it would go well.
Just because you got denied doesn't mean you have to give up on the dream.

The relationship forum would be open for all kinds of relationship info, advice, tips, dating advice, and stories. It would be moderated with the focus of keeping people from butchering the threads with random chat. It would not be a general discussion board.
Most of the advice threads die in the Cantina or Lando due to people dragging them off topic. We would have to make it clear from the get go that discussion here needs to stay on topic and flaming will not be tolerated.

I also think a Moderator from the other side of the world would be good... maybe someone from Australia. Because they're awake when you AmeriCanadians are asleep. So the forum could be monitored at all times.

I have given, and recieved, what I would call decent advice here @ Nightly in regards to the subject matter the proposed forum would be created to discuss.
Also...when you've got a specific place for it, it is likely that more people will be willing to come forward & contribute not just w/ questions & asking for advice, but so will those who would give advice & answers to questions.

every second topic would be about either: A) "Why doesn't this chick like/notice/go out with me?" B) "I'm really good friends with this girl, how do I turn it into a relationship?" C) "...a really nice girl but she is dating a real a$$hole..." D) "Its true - nice guys finish last and here's why..." or E) "Boys are stupid because..."
but hey who knows, if there's enough regulars, there might be a bit more variety or depth to the topics.

As long as there aren't a bunch of people coming into the forum starting threads or making replies similar to AGs last couple, this type of forum should do fine...outside of establishing itself & getting a following started, that is.
