I am not the only one wondering why this thread was stickied to the top of the cantina.
It has nothing to do with the Cantina, but recalls great moments in Lando history. As such it is greatly misplaced in the Cantina as is, but to have it stickied is really not warranted!
There have been great moment on SWC, in the Episode forums, in other forums as well. They wouldn't get stickied I bet.

Actually, I do remember quite a few of those moments happening in the Cantina. Besides, isn't this more the type of thing that should be PM'ed to LiC, perhaps, so that she could explain to you why it's there inprivate, as opposed to calling out here? Not every little thing you disagree with needs to be turned into a public battle.

Since Yogie can't do simple math, I'll do so for her.
10 moments are in that thread.
3 are Lando threads. 3 are Cantina threads. 4 have no specific board.
As you can see, It's obviously not Lando history. And as I already mentioned in the thread in question, I could have posted it in either Lando or the Cantina and I chose the Cantina.
Also, as I mentioned, I didn't ask it to be stickied... but somebody who has more authority on those type of things than you or I stickied it and you should take it up with them.
Give it a week and it will probably be unsticked all on it's own, just relax.

I think the thread itself warrents a stickey in the Cantina, if for no other reason, the effort taken to write the damned thing. It includes photos, links, and a well thought out (and as far as I can tell) grammatically correct telling of one important member's rememberance of Nightly history.
If the thread weren't stickied I doubt I would have ever seen it after it vanished under the Cantina's million-and-one dumbass one joke threads.

The only thing I have to add to that is do you (TR) want it moved? I won't close the Cantina one, you can have a copy of it in each forum ( ), since it seems MY is concerned with the Lando peeps seeing your thread.

Thanks but no thanks, LiC. The one thread is enough. The Lando folk wander over to the Cantina enough to notice it on their own, I don't think there needs to be another thread.

Well, I was wondering the same thing. Not the placement of the thread in which forum, per se, but just the fact that it warranted a sticky in any forum. I think such a thread could remain afloat on its own and I'll refrain from including any personal remarks about it. I wasn't about to complain about it. I just wanted to know why.

It's not like it was the first thread to ever be stickied. lol One could argue that the Birthday List thread could stay afloat on it's own too, and doesn't need to be stickied. But it's not that big of deal and nobody cares, so I don't get why this thread is a problem for some people.
It's not like it's going to be stickied for 6 months or something.

However one can argue why something with so little importance is given the credence that something more community based should have. Your thread is not important to the overall foray of the Cantina or that of Nightly and shouldn’t be sticky.
