I've started a thread in The Collector's Corner and it got me thinking. This would make a great new addition for Nightly.net. There are so many topics that can be discussed in it's own forum, unless there aren't too many people in Nightly who are interested in cars...

Actually in our New Forum Poll that we launched last June, Auto/Cars was in the running to become a new forum. But of all the proposed new forums, it only received 3% of the vote, coming in very much dead last. So it's safe to say that there isn't much interest in the subject.
But you are more than welcome to start as many car threads as you like in the Collector's Corner. It's a perfect fit there, as the forum is still trying to develop its own identity.

That's a great idea Rock, as that would not only give people a clearly defined place to discuss cars, but also give the Collectors Corner more potential subject matter & topics

Sounds good to me guys... I know once there are some posts there it will attract people. There have been some off topic comments about cars throughout nightly in the past I see. This was why I was asking...

The trick about asking for a forum is to get the posts built up first then ask... why does no one understand that? I'd visit a car forum.. I doubt I would post often but I would visit it..
The system here isn't hard to work people... you just need to put something on the table for everyone before you ask for something...

I've started a couple threads in The Collector's Corner. So, this is where I will post such things for now but who knows maybe one day people will want more.

I've thought about this and asked for it some times but I don't think an entire forum on it would last too long - you could start topics in other forums that are related, such as in Mos Eisley, and I'm sure they'd be successful.
