To all the people that have said over and over that we don't need this, that the Cantina and SWCs deal with most of this stuff, so what? They could both deal with politics, world events, religion and at times they do, but so what? We still have complete forums for those other topics.
I'd just like to give it a try and see how it goes.

That's bang on.
It'd to-tally be the main source of humour over at Lando, replacing gay and poop jokes.

I think it would be interesting to have a relationship forum, I know that I could use some pretty darn good advice right about now...
Anyway, teh relationship forum wouldnt have to be about just bf's and gf's. It would be about family realtionships. Issues with siblings, children, parents, grandparents. How many times do we see soemone asking for advice in forusm like SWC or the Cantina?
We have a screw around forum, no offense to any landoites, we have several entertainment forums, we have hobby fourms, we have a photo album where we often see peole with their families or their significant other. We even have a forum for religion and politics. Why cant we have a relationship forum where people can get the advice they need and want?
Cant we jsut try it for a few months and see how it goes? If it doesnt get anough traffic then it can be closed as easily as it was created ro opened right? Nightly is supposed to be a community forum right? Why not make it more so by adding this one forum?

I kind of wondered why this was shot down before, for like the 3rd time as I understand it, & Lost was given a forum right at the drop of a hat without much dispute.

I don't know if anyone would take my cheesy 'all you need is love' advice, but I'd still post there.

I think it is a bad idea. The community threads do not need to be anymore devisive. Anytime anyone posts a relationship-esque question it is always one of the longer threads in the forum with good, solid replies. People complain that nightly is slower these days. I do not think so. I agree that it appears to be slower because nightly is so divided these days. This can be good for sifferent genres like SW< LotR, etc, but not good for community type stuff. That does not need to be divided.
