It's not working because the image is in .png format. The avatar function here only supports .jpg or .gif images. All you have to do though is convert the image to one or the other and upload it again to your webspace and it should work out.
If you don't know how to convert it, let me know and I'll do it for you.

Is it okay to put up my site on my profile(under Homepage)?
It is a hentai site, but I give warnings on the index, and there are no nude images anywhere near the index. You only see nudes when you want to(ie, when you enter the gallery).

In addition, there is a vague definition for hentai. Some see it as art, and others, fapping material.
