I know the computer forum has HTML turned on, so you're able to use it there.

I never remember UBB giving color options. I would imagine having multiple colors for fonts would cause problems with background colors.

I don't think Nightly ever had it enabled. Some other forums, using different PHP based message board software have UBB codes for color and font size.
EG
Red Text
and
Red Text
would both display "Red Text" in red on enabled forums, and
HUGE!
would show the text "HUGE!" in 24pt font.
I'm guessing Nightly isn't set up for those UBB Codes because we are using UBB.classic and Infopop never implemented recognition for the more recent UBB codes in the software. Infopop's other board software, UBB.threads, does have the color UBB Codes tags enabled but not the ones for font size.

I only recall being able to change font color and size in the computer/internet forum. It was enabled as html code to learn how to use html. But the UBB color code wasn't on.

The only good thing about font colors is being able to use it as a spoiler hider for spoiler material in discussion threads. You would just match the font to the background and the only way to see the type is to highlight it with your cursor.

I think all of Nightly allowed HTML at the beginning, but it was finally limited to just Computers.
It probably could just be enabled in forums that do a lot of roleplaying, but it's a bad idea otherwise. The default setup is easily readable--messing with fonts and colors will make things harder to see, and not everybody has the same fonts.
