I'm going to watch tonight. I really like the concept. If I like it, I may try and watch it on a regular basis.

The concept is very similar to something I made up and wrote when i was 17 years old. It wasn't very good of course, but I am intersted to see how the show does it.
But I am very wary anywhere McG is involved.

I was hooked after the first five minutes. I thought it rocked. The question is whether or not they will be able to keep up the momentum as the show continues.

I thought it was good, but not nearly as scary as they were advertising.
Still, I'll give it a chance.

I feel the same. I may not stick around for the whole season, especially when all the shows I will definitely be watching are all in full swing, but from what I saw last night, it was alright.
I was really hoping for somethine scarier though.
Still, I'll probably watch next week at least to see if they can progress nicely.

I'm going to keep watching. I thought it was good... we'll see if it becomes great.
I'm just glad to have a new spooky show since they cancelled/ended all my fave shows. I'm not convinced the alien shows are going to cut it this season, and that just leaves Smallville & Medium.

All I have to watch on a regular basis besides Supernatural is Smallville, and I thought season four of Smallville was terrible.
A friend's coming over to watch Supernatural with me tonight. I'm looking forward to watching it.

I liked how they combined the Lady in White ghost story with the Hitchhiking Ghost story. Tonight's episode is about The Wendigo. Hope it's good.

So what did everyone think of tuesday's episode? I didn't like it as good as the pilot, but I did enjoy it. I'll be sticking with the show and hoping it gets renewed.

I was rather disappointed by the Wendigo. Other than that, not a bad episode. What's the next one supposed to be about?

Tonight's episode was much better than last week's. I was more interested in the story. And I like the characters of Dean and Sam. I wonder when they'll start catching up to their father....

2 questions:
1. Where do they get all the fake IDs?
2. Why do they bother? Half-way into the episode, their cover is always blown.
Love the "Mullet-rock" in the show! Gives it a unique character!

I don't think they've answered how Dean got the fake IDs.
I do agree with you about the music. It adds a distinctive flavor. Posts: 4146 | From: OH | Registered: Jul 2000

I've watched every episode since the pilot. The Hookman was pretty neat.
I'd have to say my favorites so far have been the pilot, Bloody Mary (though the end was too Ring-ish), and the one with the airborne exorcism. .

My friend and I watch it together every tuesday. It's been picked up for the full season on the WB.
I've always thought it would be cool to travel across the country and visit places that were supposedly haunted, or locations that are rumored to have supernatural activity. That's probably the main reason I love the show so much. My friend wants to take a road trip to visit some of those places next summer.

If you had your choice, which 'urban myth' or famous 'bogeyman' or whatever, would you like this show to do its own spin on next?

Werewolves. I know they kind of did something similar to that with the Windigo, but the classic werewolf would be nice.

Haven't been here for a while, but I'm still watching the show. I loved the last two episodes...especially the one where they went home. Did anyone watch it?
What do you think is up with their father?

Did anybody see last night's episode, "Scarecrow"? It centered around this ancient Pagan cult conducting human sacrifice rituals to a scarecrow-like idol in Burkittsville, Indiana. That's right, Burkittsville. Sure, the Burkittsville of "Blair Witch" fame was in the New England states, but nice homage. Dean and Sam split up temporarily after arguing about whether to go to Indiana to investigate, or to California to search for their dad. Anyway, the ending really creeped me out.

I don't know about anyone else, but I was extremely impressed with Jensen Ackles' work in the episode last night. The episode didn't quite come across the way I expected, but I was surprised in a good way. His grief that a total stranger had died in his place was palpable. I like how he didn't run from the reaper. He was going to accept his fate.
As for me, I think his purpose is to be Sam's salvation. There's a vague sense of the corruptible about Sam, especially since he's got burgeoning powers that spoilers say are going to increase this spring. I can't quite put my finger on it--but he needs Dean. Not just as a bodyguard, either.
