Good eppie tonight. Neat twist on the mole scenario they seem to pull every season.

Is Evelyn fired yet? She can't keep track of the First Lady for longer than five minutes at a time! Sheesh.

I love Chloe. She and Locke from Lost are my favorite TV characters of the last decade.

Yep Shadowdog I agree. The "mole" spin was good stuff! Initially I was like "ugh here we go again ANOTHER mole!" Nice job, writers.

I hope the 1st lady turns out to be a major character who's dead set on proving she was right since her hubby wanted her committed.

Glad to see "the mole" inside CTU was resolved in 1 episode; thank god it wasn't dragged out.

I'm wondering if Tony ends up killing somebody by the end of the season? I mean he risked everything to save Michelle, thank about what he's going to do to when he finds the person responsbile for her death? I wonder if this will end up causing tension between him and Jack and possibly turn him to some kind of rouge burned out agent that causes him to go bad. For instance he might kill an important witness and put revenge over the completion of the investigation. He took Michelle leaving him pretty bad. Her death might drive him over the edge.

I agree that Tony might not react well to what's happened.

Also, thankfully the mole, seemingly was identified already, which I would like to believe is all the "mole action" we'll see this year, but I think we still might find there's more to it than has been uncovered.

So far, this is definitely been a great season and I look forward to next week's show.

I don't expect Tony to survive this season, maybe he makes a Mason-esque sacrifice...

Interesting Theory ES, about Tony. The guy will go balistic when he finds out who was responsible for Michelle's death.

Next week's show looks interesting. From the previews we see President logan confronting Kummings about being a traitor. Yet, we also see the Secret Service surrounding Jack and trying to apprehend him. Kummings is such a snake maybe he convinces Logan that Jack is somehow involved and Logan gullable enough to believe him.

They might be showing things out of order too-- they do that alot.

The meeting with mike could end in Cummings being exposed

I love the First Lady... I feel so bad for her. I can't wait for this week's episode, it looks like its going to be a good one. I just love how pretty much every episode is just so intense. I wish every hour of my day would be so exciting.

Somehow I doubt having people trying to kill you and your friends all day is not as much fun in real life but it makes good TV.

I know! What a spineless wimp! To have even allowed himself to be manipulated by Cummings shows what a worthless Prez he is (and validating that he really can't deal with anything affecting national security).

Jack is so freakin cool. I love the way he handled Cummings. [Thumbs Up]

Long live, Aaron Pierce! But I got to get this off my chest. Enough with Audrey’s crap, I’m sick of it. It’s annoying as hell, and it keeps going on and on. Is she an adult? Or not? The whole scenes with Cummings were genius, it was awesome how he just rushed at Jack there and Jack just pounded his ass. Loved some of the quotes, they were throwing at each other…..Bill’s little dust up with Lynn though made my day.

Charles Logan: You’re a traitor!
Walt Cummings: No, no. Mr. President. I am a Patriot! Doing what needs to be done for the continued safety and well being of this nation.

Charles Logan: Agent Pierce, do something!
Aaron Pierce: I am, Mr. President!

Charles Logan: This is unbelievable!
Walt Cummings: It’s necessary. It will finally give us a pretext to increase our military presence in the region. Guaranteeing the flow of oil for the next generation.

You just knew that the Nerve Gas wasn't going to be in the container. Bauer continues to prove he is one bad mother.....

It seems to me that Logan is being portrayed as a Bush-clone while Kummings is Cheney and Rumsfeld all rolled into one. A weak, simple-minded, easy manipulated president who needs others to make world changing national decisions for him.

BTW, Has anyone noticed that no one EVER eats on 24. I've seen people drink water but does anyone at CTU or anywhere for that matter ever order Take Out??!

This plot line seems to be feeding off the conspiracy ideas surrounding 9/11 and the War on terror. Logan = Bush, Cummings = Cheney/Rumsfeld, etc...

it was only a matter of time before someone copared logan to our current president.

Guys, Logan is nothing like Bush.

While both are Bad, they are 2 different kinds of bad.

Logan is easily manipulated and a wimp.

Bush is stubborn, and made mistakes from his own decisions.

Damn, what a great episode.

Aaron Pierce is what's up.

I feel so bad for Mrs. Logan. She looks so rough. Go her for turning her cheek to him. I'm a little iffy on her though. She had one helluva smirk on her when she was coming back into the White House.

Jack Bauer for President. Slicing out people's eyes since 2000.

True, but its still fun to compare two presidential disasters!! [Smile]

BTW, I forgot to add..anyone notice the creepy smile the First Lady gave while she was being led back into the compound? Could it be she knows more than she's leading on and she's going to end up being yet another traitor in Logan's administration.

They eat. It just doesn't seem like it because there's so much action going on. Usually they eat during briefings or conversations. I remember Nina and Tony having lunch during one tactical conversation all the way back in Season 1.

Yeah, that's what I meant by my above post when I said she had a hell of a smirk. I think she's in it deeper than we know.

so who do we think is in the Pen house, it said in the preview for next week that there was somebody is a pen house, and it looks like its an important character. I would love it to be president Palmers resurected body, but I have my doubts. I think it could Be Dwayne Palmer on the other hand. At first thought I thought it was Tony cause the hair was similar, but hes in the hospital (or is he, I havnt heard about him in a while)

I was wondering the same thing. I think it will be President Palmer's brother. If its not him then someone from the previous seasons that we haven't seen in a long time. No Chappel.
