I like Queen. I think Chris, Paris, Katherine, Elliot, and Taylor are gonna be either pretty good or awesome. Everyone else will be cover your ears awful.
For some reason I am reminded of my favorite Simon line of the season. "Creed wouldn't be caught dead on this show!" LOL! Doesn't say much for the acts who do come on.

I say enough of these dumb ass themes. Let the people choose whatever the hell they want to sing. Or if you're going to have themes, have a broad enough theme where everyone can play to their strengths. Like "#1 Billboard Hits" or something like that. DOing just Country or Queen or Stevie Wonder is ridiculous.

Ok. Here we go again. Queen night. Ace should have the advantage, as he's the biggest queen I've ever heard.
Bucky - Not bad! I haven't seen Bucky this on form since Thunder Rolls. He seemed really into it and did a really great job.
Randy with 2 check it outs. *grabs the shot glass*
Ace -HAHHAHAHAH! LMAO. The girliest man on the planet singing the most manly song in the world. LOL.
PAULA, STFU.
Kellie - Wow. She just bit off much more than she could chew. She tried REALLY hard, and that was what did her in. She tried too hard and it strained her, making her go all over the road like a drunken driver. But in all honesty, I can't think of a good Queen song she could have pulled off. Maybe 'We are the Champions'?
Chris - What can I say? Chris was just awesome again. From the slow beginning, to the transition bridge and past the chorus he just rocked the house. It wasn't even the best song selection, but he nailed it like usual.
Kat - Singing my second favorite Queen song of all time. A close second at that, behind We Will Rock You. Yesterday, I made a post hoping that Chris would do it, but Katherine chose it instead. And she kicked ass! Best performance so far. You go, Mrs. Ledoux!
Does anyone listen to Paula anymore? And she is HIGH as a MF'n kite tonight.
Elliot - What a piece of crap song selection. And he was almost out os sync with the music. He even admitted that he never heard the song before this week. He hit the last few notes well, but doesn't save the whole song.
Taylor Yes! He's been in a bad slump, but he proved that song selection IS key. He rocked the hizzowse! It was pure brilliance! This was his best performance this entire competition! He certainly kicked the hell out of everyone tonight! Simon really dissapointed me, as we are normally 100% in sync.
Paris - She has the Tina Turner look and sound going on tonight. But her voice just didn't match the pitch of the song. I'm giving her a huge break because this music was JUST not her and she didn't have the versitility to pull it off.
***
Normally, I'd be pissed that Ace butchered one of my all time favorite songs, and perhaps the most famous song in the whole world, but he was SOOOO BAD, that I couldn't help but just laugh my ass off. It REALLY was comical. That's how bad it is.
America... VOTE HIS ASS OFF. PLEASE. I F'N BEG YOU. He sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before. He needs to go now. The other 2 people to make up the bottom 3 are Elliot & Kellie, but I don't care. I want Ass, err, Ace off.
***
Song list for KFJ:
Bucky - Fatbottom Girls Ace - We Will Rock You Kellie - Bohemian Rhapsody Chris - Innuendo Katherine - Who wants to live forever Elliot - Somebody to Love Taylor - Crazy Little Thing Called Love Paris - The Show Must Go On

They did do that like 3 or 4 weeks ago when they gave them the greatest hits of the 21st century. That's 6 years. And if memory serves me correctly, they all sucked. That was the night Chris did Creed, and he wasn't even on par.

I watched this episode because I love Queen. Chris did a great job singing wise but the song selection sucked, he should have done PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE.
I agree with Rock, Ace should be dragged off the show screaming like the girly man he is. You know who he reminds of? John Travolta when he was on that old TV show Welcome Back Kotter, before he got fat. I hate John Travolta.

I was pretty disappointed by tonight overall. Nobody really wowed me. Taylor came pretty close, I think he rocked it.
I thought Ace was awful and he should probably go. I'm still pissed that Pickle sang Bohemian Rhapsody. She's not going to go just because she didn't fall on her face, and her fanbase is getting stronger.
Chris is my absolute fave, but I gotta agree with Simon in that he could have had a freaking HUGE night tonight, and his song choice was quite odd. He still sang great, and rocked it.
Personally, I wish he would have picked "I Want to Break Free" because I think he would have totally DESTROYED if he would have sung that one.

Ace was so bad, omfg! If he has any sense he is packing his **** because he's OUT tomorrow night. GET OUT! OUT!! No, don't stop to get a lamp, just get OUT!
The other two in the bottom three should be Elliot and Paris.
I know that everyone else hates Kellie but I actually thought she was pretty good tonight and she looked very very snackable. Still, Katherine was the hottest, as usual. And Chris and Taylor were just awesome.
I agree Rock, what was up with Simon on the last two singers? It was like he took the rest of the night off commentary wise after Elliot sang. He had nothing to say to Paris either. Bizarre. Especially when I saw him smiling and enjoying himself during Taylor's performance and then bashes him afterwards. WTF?
Oh, and speaking of Ace, I hate him and all but I was actually annoyed by Queen's attitude all night but especially when taking with Ace. "Oh, we're not going to do YOUR arrangement." What? You just got paid big bucks for this appearance, you haven't had a hit in 15 years, and you're trying to reclaim your past glory with a second rate new lead singer and you want to cop and attitude? Get over yourself. You've already sold out by appearing on American Idol so suck it up and play ball! They're not goingt to have an attitude when they cash that check tomorrow. >:-# And actually, Ryan even mentioned Queen's attitude I think, that's how obvious it was.
Was it just me or was Mandisa with this group when they met Queen? I swear I saw her during one of the stadium pan shots when they met with Queen. I wonder if they met Queen and filmed all this last week before the results show and then whoever lost was gonna get edited out?

Yes. At the end of last weeks episode they said that the idols met Queen the week before, so Mandisa would have been there.
What did Chris and Taylor sing?

Personally, I thought her biker/rocker chick look was ridiculous and she looked so uncomfortable. Or maybe I was just uncomfortable watching her. Oh well, she's blonde and perky so she'll stay.

If this season has a theme it would be "so much potential, so little to show for it."
Chris sounded good, but his song was crap. Taylor was back. Katherine stole Chris's song and butchered it. Bucky likes the fat-bottomed girls. Ace didn't rock us. Kellie looked undead. Elliot is not the queen of soul. Paris, the show must go on...without your Tina Turner dancing.

Bucky Covington: GREAT song choice! He really made the song his own. I was impressed, and not at all turned off by the added country flavor to the song. Although, it would have perfect if Mandisa would have lasted another week. Oh well. 6/10
Ace Young: Dammit, Dammit, DAMMIT! Ever since his Father Figure cover I've been singing this guy's praises. I suffered through weeks of mediocre crap knowing that it only takes one phenomenal week to turn it all around. This was supposed to be his week. Queen has some of the greatest ballads (proved by Katherine McPhee with her song choice), and he goes and picks their stadium anthem We Will ROCK You. What the hell was he thinking? Justin Timberlake could have rocked out harder. I cannot abide this loser anymore. He needs to go home tonight. 2/10
Kellie Pickler: NOT a good song choice. What the hell was she thinking taking on such a huge song? The slower stuff was just "a'ight", but the ROCK portion of the song was way wrong for her. The fact that Bucky did better than her says a LOT. 5/10
Chris Daughtry: Dammit Ace, Chris should have done We Will ROCK You. That would have been perfect. I wasn't too thrilled with his song choice, but it was a safe bet for him since most people haven't heard the original version of that song. Someone behind the scenes is scheming hardcore to get Chris to win this competition. No complaints, he deserves it. 8/10
Katherine McPhee: Thank god she changed her song choice. She excels at the ballady numbers, even if her voice isn't the greatest. The performance was great, and the backlighting was nice. That's the same lighting they used last year when Bo Bice did his performance acapella. 7/10
Elliot Yamin: My favorite Queen song (that I was hoping would be sung by Ace), wasn't really suited for Elliot. Even though he kept the soulful feeling in it, he completely eliminated the falsetto elements and didn't bring out the longing emotion from the song. 6/10
Taylor Hicks: This is what he needed. Last week's performance sucked so bad. Someone had to do this song tonight, and I'm really glad it was him. On anyone else it would have been considered "safe", but his choreography makes all the difference. 6/10
Paris Bennet: It's funny because my wife said, "This is weird" during her performance. Then Simon said, "That was weird." I know what they both mean. I'm not sure what to think about this performance. She obviouslay has a lot of talent, and she hit all the notes...but it was just so not like her at all. It was just "a'ight for me dawg.". 5/10
My picks for the bottom three: Paris, Elliot, and Ace. In a week where Bucky shines there will be an upset. It will probably be Ace (who totally deserves it now), but I wouldn't be surprised if Paris goes home tonight.

I just have to come back and say how much I loved Taylor's performance last night. He went to kick over the mic stand and missed...how great is that?

I hope I don't sound like an ass on my part but the only reason I don't want Paris to go tonight is we will start hearing cries of racism. It happened the year before when two people of the same color were voted out for two consectuive weeks. Even celebrities like Elton John and others were crying foul saying the show and the viewers were racist...

I am a huge Queen fan. This show was a nightmare. Not because freddie is impossible to follow, but because the song selection was a joke. I mean We will rock you? this song alternates between 3 notes thru all 3 verses.
The only good one worth mentioning was "who wants to live forever" which is a great song, and it was performed well.
Chris can definately sing, but "innuendo"??? what are you thinking. Chris could've all but put the competition away by doing "princes of the Universe" or maybe "stone cold crazy".
The following songs should have earned an immediate kick off the show. 1) bohemian rhapsody. especially without the "galileo!!" part.
2) crazy little thing called love - this is an Elvis song. yes Queen redid it, but it really is at the bottom of the barrel of queen songs.
3) we will rock you - for reasons already mentioned.
4)Fat bottomed girls. This song never really showed freddie's potential, and it didn't show bucky's either.
5) Innuendo - you've got to be kidding right? And you would think the judges would get there research done better. The song was never performed live, because FM was DYING.
Now, the good selections were "who wants to live forever" and "the show must go on".
Who wants to live forever was performed well. The show must go on should've been done by chris.
And Taylor missing the Mike stand was classic.

Okay...just from hearing the little bit of "Under Pressure," Chris totally should have sung that song! I love you Chris, but you need better song selections.<
