Have we been just The Arena and not The Wrestling Arena? Im not saying a bad thing in anyway... Im glad ya killed it... I was always against it being The Wrestling Arena annyway...

WOW! I was wonder how long it would take for someone to publically note this change.
I did this about Sunday or Saturday this week. So it's been like this for 4 or 5 days.
I was going to post a poll asking if we wanted it changed, but I just wanted to see how it works.
I like it for the moment. Only problem I can think of is for newcomers... They dont realise it's a Wrestling forum till they step inside, by then it's too late for those who dont want to be here, cause once you come in... YOU NEVER COME OUT!!!

That's why when I was Mod, I made it 'The Wrestling Arena' on the outside and put up a valid description to let newcombers know what we are about. Now, it says 'The Arena' and 'We've got Monkeys', which gives no indication that this is a wrestling forum. While slightly funny, it is totally counter producive and will not attract any new people, new perspectives, etc.

Yes, I could have done it in a PM or AIM, but I'm expressing the thoughts that the majority of our small group of Arena Members have and they deserve to know what's going on. Do you know how many IMs and PMs I get complaining about you? Not to mantion the other Admins who blame me for giving you the nod in the first place, turning the Moderator forum into a three ring circus. But thats a seperate issue, yet related as you've managed to do here.
The remarks I've made are NOT petty, as you say, and I'll explain, Did you motice the thread I moved here from feedback? The one petiioning for this forum, that noone really thought would work? I worked damn hard to make the forum what it is today. I spent so much time, so much heart, energy and creativity to develop this forum. It was one of the most popular forums here. I had to leave, I appointed you mod, hoping that creativity would continue. Look at our umbers that Mandard posts. We now get beat by a freaking Video Game. Final f*cking Fantasy. Gee, I wonder why that is? I wonder why we barely get new regulars? So, in short, YES, I regret making you Mod.
And THAT's why it DOES concern me. Yes, it is my business. Yes, I'm aware I'm not Mod anymore, but you're running my board that I started into the ground head first. There's a difference between being what you call 'boring' or 'run-of-the-mill' and some flamboyant attention seeker that goes way over the top. We don't need that.
And as far as me not being Mod anymore... that might soon apply to you as well.
