I heard a guy recently left a party, decided to walk home while drunk, got stranded or something, and survived on nothing but water and barbecue sauce for 10 days.
You can bet he'll never eat barbecue sauce again in his life.

Beer is only a condiment when you pour it on tanktopped college girls or use it to help cook hamburgers on a grill. So if that applies to your situation, BBoC... then yes, beer is a condiment.
